Screening for Plagiarism Policy
Tasdiruna: International Journal of Islamic Law and Social Transformation applies a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism and all forms of unethical behavior in scholarly publishing. Authors are required to ensure that their manuscripts meet the highest academic standards, that all sources are accurately cited, and that the submitted work is entirely original.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a systematic evaluation process. Any detection of plagiarism or unethical conduct will result in immediate rejection. The journal employs reliable plagiarism detection tools, and the editorial team uses Turnitin to assess similarity levels. Authors are informed of the results of the similarity check as part of the editorial process.
Tasdiruna takes academic integrity very seriously. The editors reserve the right to withdraw acceptance of any manuscript found to violate ethical standards at any stage of the publication process. When ethical concerns arise regarding a submitted or published manuscript, the editors, in collaboration with the publisher, reviewers, and, when necessary, an ethics commission, will take appropriate action. All reported cases of unethical publishing practices, including plagiarism and research misconduct, will be thoroughly investigated, even if identified years after publication.
In cases of proven scientific misconduct, fraudulent publication, or plagiarism, the publisher—together with the editors, the Editorial Board, and, where necessary, the ethics commission—will take all necessary measures to clarify and correct the issue. Corrective actions may include the publication of an erratum, issuance of a formal clarification, or, in severe cases, retraction of the article. The publisher and editors also commit to implementing preventive measures to avoid the publication of manuscripts involving research misconduct and will under no circumstances condone or knowingly permit unethical practices.
